Day Four and Five

Ohai people I'm back. That is if you knew I was away from home T_T

Soooo!

I went to GentingH (again) this time. But it wasn't for fun it was a work thing! *serious

Arrived at the office at 6am on Friday morning what an ungodly hour it used to be my bedtime T_T I thought I'd be the earliest one but guess what all of them were there already minus me and my coursemates wtf damn failed.

We're not late okay just that they were too early! 

Carried stuffs; basically the cameras, cables, control units, monitors and some other things I don't know what are their names cos textbooks did not cover this part wtf. How can they carry all these heavy stuffs so efficiently fast har har har one damn control unit needs 6 men to carry it and some more only carrying it from truck to trolley. No one can carry it while walking wtf. There's nothing much I can carry all alone cos I'm a weak girl wtf ok I know it sounded so wrong but I admit failure here I can't do anything alone! Kinda useless T_T I didn't know it's this crazy heavy and it is seriously a kuli job :s

I dread the carrying process. But the all cables pulling and rolling is the worst. Meh. I hate them. They're all 50 metres, 100m, 120m and so and guess what I always tangle them all together FML and all the senior staffs will give me mean remarks except one cameraman la haih I don't know his name but we call him Emil Chau wtf. Too bad I still can't catch up the method he taught me and the it became worst. FAILED. They already rolled like 10 ok maybe 3 or 4 rolls of cables and I haven't even done with 1 at all. Seriously at that time of my life I wanted to become a guy wtf so I can at least contribute some help becoming kuli T_T Btw did I say handling the cables will definitely makes your hand become rough and dry and dirty? T_T Dirty can wash lah but rough and dry! I was so paranoid I went to buy handcream today wtf. So sad ok I'm now full of injuries. Cedera parah *quotes Jess. T_T_T_T_T

The easiest part of my job during the show was, I got nothing to do! Ok not literally nothing to do at all but I was there to run around just in case they need help from the control room to the stage. Mind you it's Arena of Stars and I lost count how many times I run up and down the steps. Genting should do something about it. The steps are sooo small that anybody could trip on it :s Bad design! Oh yeah and also build an elevator instead of steps for any crews to move their damn equipments into the underground control room lah why put stairs when it's so freaking hard to carry them up and down T_T 

Ok back to what I did. Not like I really didn't do anything at all T_T I handle the wireless intercoms for the floor managers, earpiece for the hosts, replacing batteries wtf, sticking the cables onto the floor using duct tapes and I don't know why they call it 'gaffer' here. I thought gaffer is someone else :s Textbooks' fault. *blames

I have no pictures so I couldn't really tell precisely what's what. Pics are with Jo and I bet she's having fun right now pfft.

Day Three

I wasn't feeling my best today.

Carried cables and equipments to and from the truck today. Rolled the cables. Observed editors doing their job. Swallowing the wrath of an unfriendly editor. Had very salty chicken for lunch. Met the boss and the ladyboss; both are very nice people. The ladyboss is so cool ok she is super tough and she can handle all these stupid heavy expensive boxes like a real man T_T_T_T And she has biceps too so cool! Imma gonna be like her one day wtf

The real training will start tomorrow. My day will start at 6am tomorrow. Wish me luck.

I learnt that voicing out my opinion will somehow cause conflicts.
I was wrong about being wanting to express my feelings to people.
Not everyone could be bothered about how I feel.

I'll just sulk in a corner like the Emo King.

Why am I always not the first place?

I tried so hard and yet all I get is disappointment. Sometimes I really didn't wanna go on anymore. But I couldn't give up just like that.

I didn't wanna elaborate. But, I hope you know what I meant. That is if you are even bothered reading this.

I thought it's the smartest choice to wear whatever I like to office today without makeup. And without tying my hair.

Apparently its hard to work with messy hair and the dusty place makes me wanting to makeup even more wtf because the dust is already making me felt like shit and this shit face teaming up with makeupless face is not helping at all. Ok I need to create a new makeup routine now! Shit I hate putting on eyeliners to places where you don't really get to go out :x Wasting my effort. Not like anyone will see it. pfft.

Guess what, my coursemate told me he felt safe when he's around me cos my eyes can scare ghosts FMLMAX.
Ok fine I'm gonna put on fake eyes tomorrow T_T

Did nothing much today cos the boss is not back yet. Slacked in the store and learnt stuffs about cameras and lenses. Helped packing stuffs for an event in Johore. I don't know where I am going yet. Let's just hope it's gonna be amajing and fun.

Oh yes I've got the call from my hairstylist. I'm going back to dye my hair again this weekend.
I already told him I've got super stubborn hair D:

Backaches and sore feet.
And I still have sleeping disorder.

Oh oh guess what! The office has wi-fi! Yay :D

Day One

First day of internship. It was exactly what I've imagined! *smacks

It was boring because there is no shooting project! Nay!

I was picked to transfer videos from tapes to the Macintosh. Did it until lunch time, then my course mates' turn to do it after lunch. Wandered in the store room; the place where they keep all sorts of amajing alienated cameras, stands, lights, booms, wires and many other things that I've never seen nor heard before. The staffs and other interns from a polytechnic in Perlis taught us quite a lot of stuffs today.

There's a total of 9 interns. No cute guys. My course mate is the best looking one already although I hate to admit it pfft. Anyways, got conned wearing semi-formal today D: wtf I'm gonna wear my trusty old school shoes tomorrow! Aching feet right now D: D:

It was just introduction. But it's eye-opening.
It's a dirty job. But I'm still fascinated by it. Let's see how long can I stand before I beg to go back to preproduction and postproduction jobs.

I'm just worried about my results. And also transportation to work. I might have to standby anytime or go outstation for events shootings. Let's hope someone with car is willing to send me home ;(

I miss my boi. 

Anxious

I had too much fun during these 7 days. Each of them are very very carefully utilized. But yet, time is flying too fast and I can't believe I'm going to my industrial training tomorrow T_______T It wasn't anything big, but I demand rests and entertainment. 1 week is definitely not enough! Bleh.

26 Jan - Finished my last paper at 11am. Dyed my hair which the color didn't really show anyways FML.
27 Jan - Went up to GentingH all by myself bleh I rock.
28 Jan - Came back from Genting and slept one entire day at home.
29 Jan - Okm's birthday dinner.
30 Jan - Cousin wedding. Spent one entire day at kampung.
31 Jan - Company lunch. Jci's birthday party at night.
1 Feb - Woke up at 5pm. Rested at home. Now I'm gonna take my shower and force myself to sleep T_T

Anyhows. February is always my favorite month. Let's hope it's gonna be a good good month for me.
